Kramers are fucking great. Really inexpensive as well. I am getting one some time soon. Possibly either a V or just a standard superstrat body.

Hell yeah they're inexpensive, my V is neck thru, has two Duncan humbuckers, and an original floyd and I got it for 300 USD.

you should check out the new peavy rotors. those things are awesome for the price, and they have that same kinda startocaster feel without looking like a fender.

I played a Kramer 7 string. Quite a solid guitar, but could have done with an OFR and better pickups.

Yeah I like Kramers too, though the one my friend has is only a 21 fret guitar.

For credential purposes... I think Jackson and particularly Ibanez are poor quality instruments. (No one bother trying to start a new topic withion this thread trying to convince me otherwise, I merely stated this so inhuman666 can see what my judgement is based on etc...)

Yea kramers are pretty rad. What are those quad rail P/Us the new ones come with like? Sounds like a cool idea but I still question the P/Us on a $300 guitar.

I've been having a big boner for the Kramer guitars at Musicyo.com for a while. I'm getting an Imperial S404-S as soon as they're back in stock(which is as impredictable as fuck). I was nearly buying a Striker FR every day for about 3 months.

The pickups... are quad-rails. They definately slay all other stock pickups on 200$ guitars! I haven't played a Kramer myself but I've played a Charvel with one of those pickups. They're hot as fuck, noiseless, nice but they're not 70$ pickups though. The dude from Overkill plays 2 different Kramer Imperials(one fixed bridge and one with a floyd) with the stock pickups. Reviews say that the Floyds are pretty decent(Kramer was the first guitar company that came with stock OFRs for your info), but the bar has broken on a few people I hear.

It was a factory second

Yah I didn't believe it when I saw it for sale either.

FUCK! ANYTHING CAN BE USED FOR METAL GOD DAMNIT!!!!

There should be a rule of suspension for asking that question.

I have a Kramer here, its a Pacers series. Very well made. Its rusted though, and I need to get it fixed, but it plays really well.

kramer vanguard s440s

I recently bought this guitar and very impressed with it. I have one concern though, the neck does not lay flat/flush with the guitar's body. It appears as a defect but the strings all look parallel and straight with the fretboard. I tried contacting Music.Yo but haven't got a reponse thus far.

see the attached pic. Can anyone enlighten me on this?

I ended up buying one of the new Imperial 404-S's(bolt on stop tail explorer types). Plays extremely well, and the stock pickups sound better than any other guitar that sells for more than twice as much. Noiseless too, and all of their newer axes come with a coil tapping thingy if you like singlecoil sounds.

The new ones are unfortunately made in Indonesia(my explorer is), you might get a dud but fuck for 150$ they're really great. Musicyo.com is really cool with customers and they'll replace your guitar or give a refund, plus the dudes even pay the return shipping. I just wish it was a metallic black instead of a satin black on my explorer. But fuck it plays just as well as any Epiphone explorer so who gives a shite.

Old USA Kramers from the 80s are kick ass guitars.

I would love to get a minty USA Baretta or Nightswan.

I have a vanguard that was owned by my girlfriends aunt Susan Mcarthy from A.B.U.S.E . I belive its from the mid 80's US made with gold hardware and matching double locking floyd rose... the pickups were replaced with EMG 81/85 setup... it plays and sounds great. no complaints. get ahold of one... musicyo.com is a known seller of kramers for cheap.... the US models however arent so cheap. Ill put some pics up of the vanguard later.
