hi, iv only just got another guitar after being away for about 10 years, i was never very good as i didnt have the time to practise before.
i have an epiphone les paul custom and a vox ad15vt amp, i was thinking about getting the Boss ME-50fx pedal but id like to know what some members think about it before i buy it, iv seen some reviews and it got good score but i was also looking at a zoom gt.1u pedal that had some good reviews but i noticed you guys dont like zoom pedals.
im also needing some tips on the best settings for my amp to give me the best sound

pretty much your going to have figure this one out on your own. Its hard for someone to give you settings over the internet for an amp thats miles away in an unknown acoustical setting. Where are you at in Scotland? I just moved from leith into a flat in downtown Edinburgh.

But yeah,get the Boss ME50 over the zoom for sure.See if you can get a second hand Boss GT8,GT6, etc.
