Bands I might like.
RABID MONKEY ASSAULT ON BANANA ISLAND!!!!!!!!!!
im just curious about some of the bands on the home page here. there are so many bands that I have never heard of. maybe this is because i live in the U.S. the question I have is, are do any of these bands have anything special about them, or are they just the generic low guitar with a growler? as i have been getting into different bands, many times i buy a cd only to find that it has a generic sound.
here are some examples:
lord belial
the everdawn
the moaning
eternal tears of sorrow
crimson glory
enter my silence (not on the home page i think)
within tears
any of this guys use keybords? any of em have cool vocals? or clean vocals?
there are MANY more, i just cant remember them right now, ill post them laterH

Within Tears is a Doom Metal band......they use PIANO......not sure about key-garbage, but i know they use the piano.......if the original "keys" isn't good enough, then don't check this band out.
Enter My Silence doesn't use "keys" or anything.......they're melodic death, kind of like In Flames (except i prefer EMS). Growl vocals, but very cool riffs.....better than the average riffs.

hey there are a lot of others, you can probably guess....bands with 2 or so tabs (except for the obvious ones). any other info on any others would be nice....

Mystic Circle is a kick ass Symphonic Black Metal band ..
Susperia is very good .. get Death Is just the Beginning compilation 4& up .. you can listen some quality bands there .. also get the Blackend compilations ..
btw get some mp3 using www.winmx.com .. i think you can find some shit there |

Just listen for yourself man. As you probably already know, our opinions of good might not be the same as yours. I uploaded EVERY Enter My Silence song on slayme's site......so get those there. As for Within Tears, try www.withintears.com for some mp3s.

1) Probably BOH-dom
2) It's a lake in Finland, just north of Helsinki, and the site of one of the most grotesque murders in Finnish history. Three kids where killed, one survived, and is still insane. This was back in 1960. Check out www.childrenofbodom.net or www.cobhc.com for more accurate versions of the story.

And, Gig-Pen, Eternal Tears of Sorrow use keyboards, and they have lots of "catchy" melodies, check out the songs Aurora Borealis and Blood of Hatred. They do growl.

Eternal Tears of Sorrow are an awsome band I been into for ages, I have their Cd - A Virgin and a Whore and its is some of the best black metal I own, and just for you - The Keyboardist is great!!!
You also may want to check out the Children of bodom's (my fav band woohoo) keyboardists solo project - "Warmen" He is unbelievably fast and a great writer of music
