Quick Question

Ok just a rough estimate how much do guitar shops usually charge to install a pup? And what would be a good pup to go along with the Dimarzio X2n. I'm going to put them in my Dime seeing that the originals crapped out on me.

I don't normally use the neck pup, but I wanna replace it so I have two working pups, I play genres of metal and cleans are of little importance to me although it wouldn't be bad to have them. All suggestions are welcome. Thanks guys.

Any other suggestions or why that's a good pup? Any ideas on installation costs?

I had a pickup installed long time ago. I believe it was around $30 or so for installation.

The Sam Ash by me charged $20 per pickup. I'm gonna change the pickups in my Dime guitar eventaully too. Im getting an X2N in the bridge and a PAF Pro in the neck position. But since you dont need great cleans, I hear that the Dimarzio Evolution or Super 2 are good matches for the X2N.

PAF Pro or Super 2, either one sounds great as a neck pickup and both go quite well with the X2N.
