NEED HELP!!!

i just installed a seymore duncan "dimebucker" on my mexican strat (lawlz at my shitty gear). the first i time played on it was directly into a line 6 pod in a studio, and it sounded fine for the two days i was there. i played a show the next day, and after the show i noticed it sounded like shit. there was hardly any gain, and it sounded choppy. so i went back and re-soldered just to make sure. it sounded fine on my practice amp, but it did the same thing after my next show. is this a power issue? why does it only "blow out" when i'm playing at higher volume levels?

nice tab score. i know for a fact i wired everything right. i just want a ballpark for what the problem might be. some peeps said that it could be a combination of playin such a hi-gain pickup thru such a hi-gain amphead like the jsx.

Well then, you shouldnt listen to your peeps cause that makes absolutely no sense. It could be you have an intermittent connection that is causing one of the coils to go in and out. Basically this would be changing back and forth between being a humbucker and a single coil. I would just take it to a pro, he'll be able to solve the problem in about 5 minutes if he knows what hes doing.
