Danny Cavanaugh left Anathema
wow, i have really gotten into this band, even though i only own "judgement" and "a fine day to exit". if i could have a band that sounded like one band it would be these guys.....
Now that danny left to join Anti-Matter (this is old news), im just curious what their plans are, he was the principle song writer, its like Iced Earth losing Jon Schaffer...
i think these guys are the reason i can never get into opeth. i like Anathema's songs better than any soft opeth song.....

they are pretty soft.....at least their newer albums are, their early work was heavier with a growler. now its all very mellow, kinda like opeth's soft songs, only with keyboards. even the distortion on their guitars is light.

i cant say i was a huge anathema fan, but i do have a few of their tunes on my computer and i quite liked them. i actualy had them on my "next 10 cd's" to get list  |
