Combo amp

Hey I'll make this quick, I have no need for my 5150 half-stack anymore, so I'm gonna sell it. I want a tube combo, preferably a 2x12 with tubes and at least 2 channels. I want the versatility to do Megadeth, Pantera, and newer stuff. So though I hear so much shit about the B-52's, I tried the AT-212 combo the other day and was very impressed. The thing I really didn't like about it was the buzzy, fizzy sound I got when I played leads on the OD channel. Now could new tubes and some mods or whatever eliminate that sound? Otherwise I was also looking into the Atomic reactor that I tried the other day. Any other decent amps under a grand you could suggest?

Well if you like the 5150 you can always get the combo version. I think that would be your best bet for that style of music and you can usually get them between $700-$1000.
