bias / preamptubes

i just took the old tubes out of my digitech gsp1201 preamp.
so what i need to know is

do i need to adjust the bias for the preamptubes??
(if yes) isit totaly 100% necesary to do so? or can i just put the new tubes init and play??

is there even a bias for preamptubes or is that just with poweramp tubes??

As far as I know, you can put any combination of preamp tubes in, without any biasing. Don't mark my words though.
