Vincent McAllister, original Pentagram guitarist, just died of cancer last Friday. That fucking sucks due to the fact that he was one of the pioneers of the-ever-so-great doom genra.

Shit that's a shame, they spent about 15 years in the wilderness releasing independant singles throughout the 70's before finally releasing an album in the mid 80's. Cathedral even recorded a cover on their first demo!
