I wrote this one a while ago, been slightly edited as it was originally written as a song, so there was some repitition. it's a bit cliche but i think it sorta helps with the feeling. anyhoo, what do you think?

THE FAILING LIGHT

Is this the end?

This story is ages old

The failing light - Dissolving life
Will fall on our parting road

I turn and walk away

The failing light

Spiteful rhetoric
Harbouring hate
Birthing of chaos
Our mindless divide

Ghostly whisper
All but a memory
Love leaves your sole
Empty inside
