hey look on page 150 if you have this, its Angelos lesson corner. I was looking at one of his sweeps and it starts on the 37th fret and ends on the 42nd. Does he truely have this many frets, or is this a misprint or me reading it wrong?

only phil collen (def leppard) has a 29 fret guitar.

They usually come in octaves: 24, 36, 48.
The guitarist from Lost Soul (Polish death metal band, sound like Morbid Angel) has some weird guitar from a maker I didn't recognise (not Ran) which seems to have as many frets as could be fit between the nut and the bridge pickup.
I think the only limitation is scale length!

to make the 100th fret wide enough for your little finger, the first fret would have to be about 3 ft wide. your stretch/reach isn't that long. and your dick isn't either

then your a freak.
96 frets (closest multiple of 12) over a 8 metre neck (normal is less than 1m, but your arms are four metres long) would have a 1.86mm distance between the 95th and 96th fret, oh yeah, and about 3cm gap to put a pick up in.
first fret would be 449mm from the nut (just under half a metre)
