Angled pickups
I am looking at an old Kramer on Ebay with an angled humbucker in the bridge.
Its angled so that its treble strings end is pointed towards the bridge and its bass strings end is pointed towards the neck.
What effect will this have on palm mutes? Will they be less chunky? i dont mind about what the treble will be like to much as i like neck pickups for soloing but if my palm mutes lose chunk then i will think twice about the guitar

Pick your strings in different positions around your pickups.Hear the difference in tone colour/dynamics and thats pretty much the difference.

Thought so. Ever noticed how your leads scream when you pick closer to the neck?

makes the lows meatier/bassier, and the highs much more trebly and twangy.

Eddie van halen style? it would look badass with that paintjob, 1 bridge pickup and a chrome floyd on it

They angled the pickups so the polepieces would line up with the strings since there weren't any pickups with F-spacing.
