Hi, has anyone here heard of/tried a Sovtek Bassov Blues Boy. It is a 100 watt full tube Russian made bass head. I have found it for $1000 AU. If anyone has any information on this head to share, it would be greatly appreciated.

Now i need some advise. I am looking for a new head to play mainly metal and i have 7 to choose from. They are:

1. The Sovtek
2. An Ampeg B1R
3. A David Eden WT330
4. A Gallien-Krueger 700 RB
4. A Hartke HA3500
5. A Warwick Profet 5.1.or maby the Quad IV with a lot of saving
6. An Eden Nemesis NA320
7. Or an Ashdown MAG 300H

Could anyone could give me an opinion on which one you think would be best and any pros and cons for each.
