dude... not everybody has a 6505... just play with knobs...
personally, i'd say lay off the gain, and dont overdo anything... dont forget to put in mids.

not exactly like this but start somewhere around
bass 4-5
mid 6-dime
treble what ever you like but sometimes i keep mine down to around 3-6

the 6505 is one of the easiest amps to adjust - youll figure it out on your own. plus it will differ depending on the speakers/cab you use with it.

i don't understand why people want to clone tones...I know probably covers...but aren't cover more unique when it is your own tone and such? I know that when I do this Unleashed cover I'm not changing any settings on amp to make it sounds like them...although it sounds quite close their sound already...blah

It just all depends on your setup. Some pickups are heavier in the mids, others have them scooped a bit. Same goes for amps, speakers, and tubes. So you just have to do work works for you and your setup.
EDIT: Wayne Static from Static-X uses Marshall MG100's.
