Just refer to the site for some good ideals. If it's Slayer or not, who cares? As long as its metal and loud, it should do just nicely.

A zombie movie would make no sense, but a remake of The Omen makes perfect sense. All I know is that 6+6+06=18, which is a fairly non-threatening number.
And of course this is lame, with the best thing about it being that it parodies the 'National Day of Prayer' (otherwise it'd probably be Iron Maiden's day). Which no non-American is likely to get.

The only years that this should seriously be brought up on is 6-6-666, or 6-6-6666, etc. Why make a big deal about this particular date just because we're alive during it? Well, actually, more than three sixes isn't really anything. Four is not a magic number in Christian mythology, and hence four sixes is fairly meaningless. Same with five. Six is less so, but the whole point is that the numbers come in threes. So they should make a bigger deal about the day this year than any other year, except the next one ending in 06. It would make a lot more sense than any of the dates you suggested, even if they happened to live through those too (and many people alive today were alive in June of 1966).

Tom Araya sucks at bass and isn't a very good singer either, hell he doesn't even really sing, more like yelling. I don't understand why everyone likes them so much, their guitar solos are fricken horrible too. If I'm going to listen to thrash metal I'll listen to the good ones; Anthrax, Megadeth, Sadus, Celtic Frost (kinda thrashy), Toxik, 13 A.D. (my dads old thrash band, hehe), etc.
Also, most, but NOT ALL Slayer fans are really annoying, shouting 'Slayer!' in peoples faces and such, yeah.
