Stasis In Psychosis
Code:
Stasis In Psychosis
-
Within a cell of familiarity,
A place where I come to sleep,
As circadians dictate.
-
I am lost in thoughtlessness,
I realise this is Instinct’s way.
-
It cares not for my autonomy,
But for mere animated existence.
-
The paradoxes rise beyond me,
As I create my own chasm to fall into,
I am becoming my true self once more.
-
I have found my core self,
But at the sacrifice of emotions,
I am no subject of control,
I am no longer afloat upon anything,
Worry not for me,
The only wrong done,
Was being human.
-
Static, catatonic,
Lost in a nameless place,
Beyond God’s intended creation,
Beyond Satan’s deviating influence.
-
Is this a world of flesh,
Or another dimension of dream-fabric,
Unnature encircles,
It has found a friend in me.
-
Reality has failed to emprison me,
My perception is not locked onto it,
Elastic planes where paradox is manifest.
-
All universes have collided within,
Transcendant and refracted into all,
My thoughts are derived from other worlds,
As I’m believed mad in humanity.
-
A pilgrim,
In a desert of alien trees,
An empath,
Of an emotive spectrum not of love and fear,
That is me.
-
I wrote this year ago at school.
I'm at school right now and I found it.
I'll probably use it on my band's forthcoming EP.
Give me your thoughts.
It's not as mad as 'Cosmo-Perceptive Psychiatry'.
And it's not as randomly conjured.
I skived a whole lesson of Art to sit and think about it.

To me it says that you've gone through something from birth to presnt and it wouldn't make a difference if who or what you are or what you do you're just there following whatever life gives you. There's no love or unloved, happiness or unhappiness.
One thing that triggered something at the beginning was the word "circadians." That made a double image for me. One because of the sleep or natural patterns and one the nature of the creatures themselves which is pretty interesting to watch and understand. The crawling from ground to tree, enclosing in a shell that hardens as growth happens, the cracking of the husk, and the emergence. The pateince of sitting on the treeside to dry wongs and "get one's bearings" for the new life. But maybe instead of you just being you, you should climb up on a limb and be the noisy little dickens that they are!
I think I got into this one more than the other.

Cicadas are not circadians. There are no circadians, 'circadian' being an adjective.

Whether or not circadian and cicadas have anything to do with each other, they are both rhythmic and that's what I was referring to.

You were referring to 'circadians themselves.' I was saying that there are no such things. You can say 'Well, I made a mistake, but I still think the similarities that I saw between "circadian" and cicadas are valid,' which is what I take your statement to mean. But it's not what you said.
However, my claim that 'circadians' don't exist (i.e. there is no count noun 'circadian'), because 'circadian' is an adjective, wasn't entirely addressed at you.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Sometimes I understand what I mean, but it gets lost when someone else reads it.

I liked this one a lil more than the last one. Although i think about half way through the song its not that i got lost, but didn't seem as strongly conveyed as the first half did. I dunno maybe thats me, maybe its late and i can't pay attention haha.
But overall not bad. I liked it.

I'm glad this piece had some meaning for you. It was certainly wirtten at a peak in my writing. When I found I was fuse power, emotion and transcension with great ease. "Circadians" is meant as the sleep patterns.

Yeah, I may have made a mistake there.
Thank you, PST 88.

Thank you too, tmfreak.
The song is about getting lost.

I have been writing since August 2004, about the time I started my band.
I certainly like the piece myself.
I wrote it approximately May 2005.
For all, I think Stasis In Psychosis is better than Cosmo-Perceptive Psychiatry. C-pP was, shall we say, a 'failed experment'. I was trying to re-visit my days as, shall we say again, a 'hybrid word juggler'. I'm kind of glad those days are behind me.
