Exactly. That's why you find a stylist that can do what you want with your hair. Go for a consultation or if someone's got hair like you want show them that and see if it's possible.
One of the reasons I don't want my hair layered and long is because I do pull it back and it would be pain in the ass to keep it out of the way long unless It was wrapped and clipped in the back.

My hair has been about an inch above my nipples for the past year, and after my bass player goes Kerry King with his hair....I'l probably consider it. You guys think I'd look better with no hair?

My grandpa used to use one of grandma's old stockings and knot it and put that on his head after he washed his hair to keep it laying flat til it dried. I've never seen another white person do that, but his old barber was black and I've seen lots of them do similar.
Multipurpose. I wonder if that would work for nh'? It would probably make him look pretty funny as long as his hair is though.

Well, after a while long hair can become a pain if you're not not constantly performing. Most people wouldn't even know that he plays guitar. SHort hair is definitely safe for now. Mine is kinda-short(ish)

I'm always going back and forth on if I want long hair. This time I'm sticking it out and growing it. Reasons I usually cut it are when I'm drumming I get all sweaty and my hair gets wet, and after that I can't see beyond all the sweaty hair in my eyes. But this time I'm not gonna let stupid things like that persuade me otherwise.

Genetics don't favor for me either. As far as hair goes, I dunno... although my family is not known well for facial hair. That's another thing that makes me rethink growing my hair.
