tremolo bar
how important it is as a music in overall... i would play blackmetal mostly can i survive without a tremolo bar in my guitar... what does it exactly even?

I don't know many black metal band that use tremolo... soloing is not what black metal is all about, it's definately not necessary

the tremolo adds alot of expression in your solos. if used correctly, it can add alot of emotion to your song.

Children Of Bodom, or Kalmah uses tremolo's....and so does Morbid Angel....these arnt black metal but a black metal band that has used tremolo is Ancient Wisdom. You can make black metal any way you want...its just about the lyrics mainly...

yeah you dont really *need* them...when theres a song with lots of trem action, since i dont have one, i just pick a few frets lower and bend up and down instead...doesnt sound exactly the same but it gives a rough idea  |

you can live without one..i have a guitar with a Floyd Rose bridge and tremelo...i love the tremelo on that..but....the floyd rose bridge is a fucking cunt that is a pain in my ass to manage....probably cuz i fucked the bridge up but that' s ok. still the tremelo on it kicks ass  |
