Equilibrium - Turis Fratyr
Has anyone other than timedragon and myself heard this band? Almost impossible to find there shit..I just dled their first and only cd...and it's fucking amazing.. They definitely pwn the folk/viking metal genre.

i wish you had! and if you did, and i didnt take note, i should have. i didnt actually hear the band untill i met this guy on myspace who has the song Wingthors hammer playing on his profile. not as good as you expected? hm, well, my hopes are pretty high, and ive heard a few songs already.
im surprised to see the comments here. hah, i guess i was expecting "oh my gawd tehy are amazzzing". well not really, but i thought theyd be a little more populare with you two (trans + kalmahswamp). then again, i havnt heard the whole cd, but i also dont have the exact same music preference as you two either.

Turis Fratyr definately own. I also have the 2003 Demo..
This band is one of my favorites with Finntroll

Yes, I'm on heavytorrents as well(canadianmetalhead)...it can get pretty confusing...hell, even signing up is a problem..I'm glad Kerrazy is back though!
EDIT - Post your thoughts on the band after you have heard a good portion(or all) of the cd...It will give more confidence to timedragon's purchase.(lucky bastard!)

They're pretty kickass. Definitely gonna buy the CD now.

You need to get this however you can, if you do not live in Europe then you can buy it through amazon.co.uk, track six is definitely my favorite. I speak not a word of German but hearing the singer growl "MET" like the evilest sounding pig from hell convinces me they are spreading the good word of evil like metal bands should. This CD is extremely worth the money......if you can find it.

You can buy it from CMDISTRO(if you have a credit card..I think its mandatory)..as well from the band(their site), which I might do..because I want a long sleeve shirt as well.
