This Thread Bleeds Tragedies
Who here likes Mortal Decay? I've only seen a few people here that have heard them, if you haven't yet then do so. Forensic is one of the best death metal albums I own. Discuss favorite songs, albums, etc.

haha who cares who does those type of vocals the best. Demilich and Mortal Decay are both killer bands. Forensic is one of my favs.

im saying if i want to hear those vox i head to demilich. i dont think they really fit the type of music mortal play

Mortal Decay Love the early work uptill Forensic, After that my attention span is like a crack whores.
They have that Gorgutsy type vibe (circa Erosion of Sanity/Considered Dead; IMHO Gorguts best material, but I see alot of Obscura worshippers around here, so please don't flame me) With the mixing of slow and fast, and the vox/bass/drums really made Forensic (of course the guitars were great but the bass/drums/vox really added that X factor an album needs in my opinion)
Some people think they are boring thats cool too, not everyone can love a band in this world.

It takes Transient much longer than most people to realize if he dislikes something.
I don't know this band. And, I'll be honest, I haven't seen anything that makes me want to 'correct' this.

They're OK, I guess, but they don't do anything outstanding in my opinion. It seems at times that they throw riffs in for the sake of it and as a result they lack direction in some of their songs.

Forensic is an awesome awesome album, it really stands out, but most of their other material (especially Cadaver Art) is either pretty average or a steaming pile.
