weird flange hand thing
i was watchin a video of yngwie malmsteen play a song, and i saw him play this sort of flange sounding thing, but all he did was slide his right hand down his strings. wtf is it and how do you do it? ill try and find the vid again.

you mean the rolling harmonic?
if so thats easy to do
with your fretting hand do a 3 note hammer-on 2 notes being actual notes the 3rd note being an open note so for e.g 5h7p0h5h7p0 and with your
picking hand slide the side of your hand down the same string your doing the hammerons do it lightly and you'll get the same effect,,,
if thats not the part your talking about then im an idiot lol.
