edge pro ibanez rg 350 ex
what is the correct fitting trem arm for this model?
is it a push in or does it have some sort of a thread on it?

Edge Pro and Edge Pro II trems have push in bars.
The cheaper Korean models (the Edge Pro II) do not feature plastic collars to govern stiffness, and the bar doesn't 'click' in, it just slides in and is held by a plate that clamps it to the required degree.

mine is different to that bar i think i need that one pictured.
mine is really loose not loose as in when i let go of the bar it drops
loose as in when i move the bar the trem bridge stays still the bar moves.
the bar i have is a crappy push in bar which i think is either a second hand one or a dud.

that is the kind of the edge/edge pro/etc (ie japanese-made) bridges. if you have a 350, i don't think that's what you need. those white washers around it snap into place in the japanese bridges. for people with the edge/pro/etc bridges, they just need to replace the washers when they wear down. when it acts like you describe (can move the bar slightly without moving the bridge - it doesn't feel like it's at one with the bridge, nicely snug), it's time to replace the collars.
yours is probably different, though. i'm 99.9% positive that no 300 series guitar has one of those bridges. i think there's a way to tighten the trem bar socket on yours? you may want to look for that.

If it's a 2006 model it may well have the Edge III, which is a slightly improved Edge II, but still Korean I think. I'm not actually familiar with it (only the Edge Pro and Edge Pro II's) but I imagine the bar is the same.
The Edge Pro II bar is just a plain, smooth bar, with no collars or grooves or anything.

did you not find a way to tighten the socket? i used to have an ibanez strat "copy" (h/s/h with a floyd, but pup guard mounted pups and whatnot like a strat) that allowed you to tighten the socket. i only had my 370dx for a month or two, so i never looked around for a way to do that since it wasn't a problem.
how long ago did you buy the guitar? and did you buy it new or used?
if you look on the back of the headstock it should give you a serial number, and you ought to be able to use that to date the guitar. my guess is your bar is the right one, and you either need to tighten the socket or just deal with it the way it is.
or upgrade to one with the edge/edge pro/etc bridge for a snug, firm whammy bar

the guitar is brand new which is the reason i dont wanna do some experimenting with it and break it lol the thing is the day i had a go on it
the wammy bar was perfect but when i went to pick it up months after cuz i was paying for it weekly not all at once the bar was loose didnt even feel like the same one originally for it .also when i opened the box the wammy bar was at the bottom of the box not in the guitar so i think they lost the original one and just stuck any old piece of crap in there, dude there isnt anything wrong with the bridge its the arm for it i'll have a look for the socket thingy.

none of my guitars have come with the whammy bar stuck in the guitar.. i doubt they do that too often.
anyway, you purchased it from a store? you played it, it was great.. they put it on layaway or something, and when you finally got to bring it home, the whammy bar sucked? take it back and ask them about it, then.
i guarantee that your whammy bar isn't supposed to have 2 white brushings on it, though. that's for higher-end models. i'm pretty sure that, even if it's an edge pro III bridge, the whammy bar is the same one. who knows, maybe they gave you one that isn't for ibanez at all? or the socket needs a tiny adjustment.

Yeah the Edge Pro III bar is almost certainly the same as the Edge Pro II bar.
It wasn't a bad design, other than you had to remove the tremolo from the guitar to tighten up the lower of the 2 tiny allen bolts that tighten the bar clamp. You can see the top one in the tiny hole when you tilt the trem forward (like a dive). It's tiny 2 or 1.5 mm allen wrench that fits them.
I would send you pictures except I sold that guitar...
