Super Sweeps!
Obviously the major sweeps sound "Happy". As opposed to minor sounding just slightly more erie and then the Diminished sweeps can even be though of as "scary". Augmented just sound...well...weird. I think no matter which variety of swweps your doing. If you can pull of triplited sixteenth sweeping arpeggios at a tempo of even 200 thats pretty nuts...they all sounds super rediculous. Their hard though. Something that I'm sure you'll all agree takes more than a little practice. Anyone else having a problem reaching that super extreme of sweeping? Is it even possible?

you have some examples of these sweeps to post or what? Would be nice of you show some examples of each instead of just your basic opinions on them....
How about some tips and advice on sweeping, seeing as how you might seem to know something about it. Make your threads worth reading instead of rambling.

A triplet sweep at 200bpm isn't impossible.

No its not infact, after listening to what that sounds like on guitar pro, thats probably a common speed for some of these people that kick ass at sweeps, or even just alternate picking.

Perfect example. A person who can definately go much faster than 1/16th triplet notes at 200 bpm.
