MG30DFX

Okay i got my first "real" amp 2 weeks ago... MG30DFX (MARSHALL)

I am guessing that its an awesome first amp.....(am i right??)

For the first week i was completely drunk

on its gain capabilities and used it on full distortion (playing lamb of god). But now i am wondering:
how to get the 1980 thrash tone (kind of like pre black metallica)
also can i achieve the morbid angel like hollow sound using a marshall???

Also does contour = middle????

Glad you are happy with it.They are pretty cool for practice.But just fuck around with the EQ some more.
