I don't know, I would definitely find more reviews before I threw down money on that. Have you checked harmony central yet?
EDIT: The womanizer actually got some decent reviews at harmony...which looks similar to the demonizer...so....

it does look like a nu-metal thing, but it actualy might be good with a good equalizer. Does the gain come from the tubes, or is it just a gimmick like valvestate?

I listened to the "heavy" recordings.. Eh....... eh... i dunno. Its definately a... non-amp distortion. And frankly i've grown out of that phase of my guitar playing, (relying on a pedal for distortion). I was particularly unimpressed with teh recordings (for once ever). I mean you could probably get similar sounds from the metal zone.

Don't worry about those other clowns...they still live at home with their moms so they having nothing better to do than make fun of someone on a forum....but it looks like you took it to heart a little...
Anyway, Tmfreak has some decent advice, that phase of guitar playing dies...and the quicker the better. Why don't you just save up and get a decent amp? To hell with a pedal for your tone....

I'm not completely about bashing pedals. But i've yet to hear solid.. good distortion come from a pedal, period. It just sounds ... not good.
I would even go so far to say.. just about ANY amp's gain that it has on it sounds better than most pedals. (any newish, more modern amp that is)
But even my 15 watt marshall's distortion sounds pretty good if you ask me. (for a liek 150 dollar amp)

Which one? I used to own like an early 1990s one i think it was.. and it had celestions stock in it. It sounded fucking awesome as hell. Not to mention a very unique distortion.
