atreyu sound?
I have the gnx4 pedal and i was wondewring if there were any patches for atreyu out, or if someone knew the settings fir ateyus sound.Thanks.

I think Atreyu is sponsored by Krank, not sure, but many many other bands that are like Atreyu happen to be sponsored by them for some reason. I liked their sound so much that I bought a Krankenstein, and WOO it rips. Here are my settings :
Master volume - 4
Pre-gain - 10
Bass - 10
Mid - 0
Treble - 10
Presence - 10
You probably don't have a Krankenstein, not everyone can afford an amp that awesome. So just use those settings on your amp, should work.
What I like to do is have my two MXR Kerry King signature EQ's at once running through my amp. I cut all of the mid frequencies out on the amp, and on both eq's ( with the EQ's I can hit the frequencies that the amp does'nt have ). On the EQ pedals I also max out the bass and treble sliders for maximum tone. Then I have a Zakk Wylde Overdrive and an MXR Dimebag Darrel Signature distortion pedal running both at once for the gain ( of course through the Kleen channel of my Krankenstein ). I heard something about Krank making a distortion pedal, and I'm sure it'll be pretty badass.

One day, I would like to just take my amp and turn it up to 10, on the post-gain. I would just like to imagine how that would feel, sound. And I'm not talking about any live situation in a huge venue either, I'm talking about just in your garage.

They used to play on Marshall jcm 900s back when they first came out i think.
Now that was hella awesome tone. It was like.. indie hardcore/metal. It was a very intresting combination.
It was like.. barely distorted but was. It was overdrive status.
