i shall build a bass
yes im building a bass in wood work a school so far ive made a guid line stencle (if u now what i mean) made out of ply.next ive got to cut 3 bits of hard wood and two thin strips pine to glue in between the hard wood ill try to send pics and ill try to keep u guys up to date with my first atempt at at building a bass.(if u guys hav any tips or things i should watch out plese send me them)  |

Be careful. Keep in mind that the detail of the body can have almost nothing, or virtually everything to do with the tone and performance of your bass.

yer well im just starting with a basic bass shape that i traced out of the music room at school ill take a pic when im a school of the stencil and the bass i traced.(this project my take i while becase im only in the wood work room 2hrs a week)  |

id like to see how you are going with the bass. im planning on building a bass, either an electric 2 stringed out of a 2x6 and hand wind the pickups and everything, or a cheap 1 string stand up made out of a washtub. the electric would be pretty damn hard especially to fit it all into a 2x6, especially being my first electric guitar building project. keep us informed on this so i can learn from your mistakes 
edit: not 2x4, 2x6 (spare cedar i have in my garage)
