My B string is deader than dog shit.
by this i mean it has no resonnance it just simply kerplunks and doesnt ring at all
could this maybe mean that i need new strings?

no its nbot a shit bass its a spector and it is tuned right so it shouldnt be a tension problem.
i guess ill go get some new strings

Well the new strings worked wonderds.
I thought about it and realized my B-string was about a year and a half old.
I diddnt realize it because I had replaced all the other strings.

i played a 5 string fretless washburn once...... it sounded absolutely amazing.

maybe you need to change ur strings or prob something else
