Indeed. I hope they are permanently removed from the home and put into intensive therapy to cleanse them of all the rubbish that was stuffed into them.

I don't agree with teaching kids racism at all, but to teach them that some people should die for the most insane reasons is crazy. There's a lot of people that should be on death row, but because of crimes against mankind, not just because of their birth situation. Clarifying that I mean that people should die for an evil crime not because of what they are birthwise.
And where did those parents get their ideas? How widespread are their ideas in that area? That's scary, too.
Maybe the kid doesn't agree with their politics and it won't take much to get them to accept their parents are wrong. Hopefully.

Karma's a bitch. I guess he'll stop going around telling people he's going to kill their children now.

That was just trash talk like you guys all do. This is a horrible tragedy for anyone to have to go through. He and Don King both have homes as well as a training camp within my county so this is going to be sad news for a lot of people here, too.

Sigh. Somehow that just makes me tired.

Real or not? It's Japan, of course it's real.

Well, be fair, this is just a step in the process of doing just that; it's damn typical of the mainstream media to pick up on stuff like this and ignore the big picture. Kind of pointless trying to do advanced genetic research on cancer if you don't even know for sure that you can do a simple modification in looks!

Well yeah, the piece of machinery is in fact real.

But it's this quote on the link I posted above that made me think the people who wrote the article were fucking around :

Glowing monkeys? I'd buy that for a dollar!

Never underestimate the joy a glowing monkey can bring the world. If someone said to me "Paddy, you're great and not fat at all, plus I have a proposition for you. You can have a glowing monkey as a pet in which you may insert any number of meat-flavoured dangly bits, if you agree to have terminal cancer injected into your purple storm trooper helmet. That is, you'll have a glowing monkey for the remaining six months of your life, followed by an agonising, wasting death." I mean, who the fuck wouldn't agree to that?

Glowing monkeys are the future. They're certainly the future of the glowing monkey industry, fo' shizzle me timbers!

I have a better idea. Instead of cancer just have the glow in the dark stuff injected into your paisley storm trooper helmet. Just don't get cross eyed and trip.

I now get 10$ a day for feeding 4 cats, picking up their shit, and petting them. Actually more like 10$ for half an hour of that stuff. Too bad this only lasts 7 days, it would be a great full time job

They're perpetuating hate crimes and it sounds like blatantly neglecting the kid's education and health. They should be taken away.

The heck with the article. The picture is a great shot. http://www.theprovince.com/Sports/D...1072/story.html
That's pretty wild about Hendrix. There's a great display at the Rock Hall of Fame in Cleveland. Drawings he did as a kid, handwritten lyrics, clothes, and other memorabilia.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090605...carradine_death I wonder if he was just getting kinky or if he had something wrong medically and thought he'd go out with a smile in his own way. I'm glad to see they did an autopsy. All the Carradine actors were fabulous.

Some 11 year-old boys rape..

Others get reincarnated and have an uncanny ability for remembering everything:

There was a woman about 20 years ago on Real People or Unsolved Mysteries that said she'd never been on a steam paddle wheeler in her life, but when she'd finally gotten on one she knew details about it and people's names from a very long time ago. They thought that was a reincarnation experience, too.

No doubt in my mind 11 year olds can rape. Some of those kids I dealt with that the Home were more than capable of it. Most of the time they were either mental cases or severely abused themselves.

I opened the link and didn't bother letting the video load after reading the title haha. It was the "Proves Reincarnation" bit that pissed me right off.

I think there is something to be said about genetic memory, though. Chemical memory is interesting, too. If you take a leech and put it in a maze which has some blood at the end, it will find its way to the blood eventually and then will remember the route every time thereafter. If you take that leech and put it in a blender, then feed the remains to another leech, the other leech will then gain the first leech's knowledge and find its way through the maze first time without having ever done it before. I wouldn't find it overly strange if it was discovered that humans could pass on certain types of memory to their children, too. If it does, that'd explain the reincarnation fantasies. If not, it simply shows how dense people will always trust coincidence, intuition and imagination over reality.

There was a past life "come as you were" party I heard about, in which you arrive dressed as the person you "were" in a past life. There were two Napoleons. 'Nuff said.

haha That's awesome. I'd never heard about the leech thing. That's pretty weird yet cool. I must have been a real moron in another life. I sent a text today and then put my cell to my ear for about 15 seconds before thinking wth? haha Almost Saturday!

Yeah, the "Proves" comment is annoying but its definitely interesting and worth the watch. Don't let the writers spoil it for you.

Paddy, is that really true about the leech thing? If so, that's fucking amazing. Really amazing. I understand the concept that instincts can be built and passed on through DNA (hence evolution), but the fact that it can happen so rapidly like that with the leech is incredible. If scientists could figure out how, and even how to manipulate such a thing and apply it to humans, the end result can be almost unimaginable with the things we'd be able to accomplish, although i'm sure it can be just as harmful to the human race as helpful if abused, like anything really.

I'm 99% sure it's true, and it kinda puts you in mind of the cannibal tribes who believed they were absorbing the knowledge of their enemies by munching on their brains/hearts. I'm pretty sure it doesn't work that way with humans haha, and I can't imagine how we'd experiment with it (legally, at least), but it's still pretty amazing. I haven't done much research on the whole thing, though - gonna start now!

Paddy used a percentage. I'm 99% sure I recall a discussion on here where Paddy said percentages people pander are predominately pooh. So, Paddy, does that mean you're being hypocritical?

I was talking about the level of confidence I had in my own information, and no one's in a better position to judge that than Paddy. The people I was talking about before were making generalisations with a percentage mark tagged onto the end of it to make it sound well-reasoned, sourced and supported by statistical evidence, and 77% of the time - as well all know - such people are nothing but STUPID FUCKER-FACES

I read an article just now about new findings about heritage and such - apparently, the way we live affect which genes are active, to some extent, which also passes on to our offspring. Environment takes a step forward in the constant struggle with genetical heritage.

This being said, I hereby propose a task force be established with the aim of sterilizing Paddy, burn the testicles on a huge bonfire with one priest from every know faith performing their particular form of exorcism over it, where after the remains be treated with acid and placed in a space ship bound for a black hole in a remote galaxy. Are the assembled ready to proceed to voting?

It is very interesting how evolution works, isn't it? Especially how migration and climate affected people over time, like how most Oriental people developed epicanthic folds to protect the eyes from intense sunlight, and in Mongolia, harsh windy winters. Our genes are brilliant

But keep in mind, this can also be a very bad thing. If the world is this polluted now (not to mention the additives and preservatives they put in food) imagine what people will look line in 500-1000 years!
Example 1
Example 2
Example 3
Example 4

(And that's assuming our species even survives 500-1000 years)

Apparently human life started in Ethiopia, so I guess all of our very distant ancestors were black at some point. But technically, if life started in one place, does that mean that every human being on this planet is related to some extent?

You've overlooked one thing. What if some curious species of extraterrestrials found the space ship that contained Paddy's charred testicles, and whilst experimenting with them, somehow found a way to extract the genes and mix them with their own kind? Their whole civilization would be ruined!

It's mind boggling. There is a breed of locust which exhibits a form of evolution which takes place almost immediately. Depending on how far away from a source of food it is when it's in the larval stage or just born, it can "evolve" the necessary tools to reach it. If the food is a long way away (I don't even know how it can figure that out!) its wings and related features will be bigger and stronger, allowing it to travel farther, and if the food is quite close it will develop smaller/weaker wings, etc. All of this is determined during the development of each individual locust at that specific time. I think this is an extreme illustration of the environmentally influenced/activated genetics you mentioned haha.

How about I just get a vasectomy? I've been planning to have one done for years anyway, but then I realised that women generally don't want my salty sea monkeys swimming around inside them, so why bother?

If you go back further than that we all have a common ancestor in chimps, and if you keep regressing even more you'll find that we were fishy spunk-type blobs of boneless moisture festering on a rock. A brotherhood of man, indeed! haha

Race supremacists need a crash course in evolution, it seems.

Is my sickly, dehydrated glue-like spunk really that much of a threat to our civilisation that we have to worry about aliens finding its charred remains in the asshole of a black hole and then splicing its genes together with those of its own species, producing some sort of intergalactic supreme sex offender race? Is that what you're worried about?? The Universal Sex Offenders Register will surely quash any fears you may have.

Haha, exactly! It's absurd to profess that one race is superior to others when we all came from the same fucking source. The only reason that we look different is because of migration. Most race supremacists obviously aren't educated and were just raised in families full of hate, intolerance, and ignorance, and were brainwashed from a very young age, not unlike most religious extremists who never had a chance to think for themselves. I'm grateful every goddamn day that I was raised by tolerant parents that promoted freedom of thought and freedom of choice, and never tried to push any extreme absurd beliefs down my throat.

Pepper spray, you know.

Quite true. However, there is one interesting aspect of that last part:
Take a map, place a pin at the center of every great civilization we know of and compare that with the large scale migratory patterns of humanity at the time. Notice how just about every advanced culture tends to spring up at the edges, as it were, or at least quite far from the origin?
Pure curiosity may not be strong enough to move a mountain, but it can always inspire someone to create something capable of blowing up the planet it's on.

Hey, that means all your sorry asses are related to ME! HA! Take that!!! Put that in all y'all's pipes and smmmmmoke it!

Gotta disagree with the uneducated part about supremists. I knew a millionaire who was basically just that without coming right out and saying it. I think his groups idea was just that they had evolved more than other races. A load of horse shit as far as I'm concerned. Dude, look around, ya know?

And Happy Father's Day to all you fathers out there.

I never said they were uneducated, but they're definitely cherry picking biological/sociological evidence to suit their pre-determined conclusions about race, and in order for them to maintain their views they have to outright disagree with evolutionary theory, otherwise they'd just have to accept that there is no such thing as "race" but, as Blitz pointed out, a series of superficial differences determined by environment (skin colour, etc.). Most "active" racists are actually pretty intelligent, but evidently a high IQ doesn't make ya any less of a dumbass - Sharon Stone is a member of Mensa for fuck's sake! Nuff said!

Eugenics is an example of this - highly intelligent people with an axe to grind can come up with some incredibly stupid shit, and clearly intelligence and integrity don't necessarily go hand-in-hand.

What bothers me the most about white supremacists, at least, is this new wave of "politically correct racism", whereby they claim that they don't hate other races, they're just proud of their "own". What kinda retarded shit is that?? It's insulting to my limited intelligence. Also, they claim that they wish to keep the white race pure and that it's being diluted because of the multicultural tolerance we're currently enjoying - how fucking insecure do you have to be to believe such fuckheadedness? Do they now feel compelled to mate with other races against their will? Or that their children are now, by definition, attracted to races other than their own? Who the fuck is threatening their whiteness? WHO?? If you want to keep your bloodline white don't fuck black people, easy peasy. Just don't fucking tell me that I'm obliged to do the same, ya dizzy motherfuckers.

Fucking cocksuckers. Cocksuckers who aren't even reading this, 'cause you think you're better than me. FUCK YOU.

Here's a piece of somewhat old news that'll slot right into this discussion:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/...ester-liverpool

If George Bush had actually been elected, this BNP cunt would have undoubtedly usurped his place in the history books as "worst piece of shit dumbass wanker to be elected in modern history". They are saying that this guy was only voted in because of "protest votes". Even if that's true, it's still inexcusable; there must have been SOMEONE else they could have wasted their vote on. "We don't like any of ya, so we're gonna vote in a violent fascist racist Nazi Hitler admirer - that'll learn ye!".

I think it's bed time.

I don't know, I was raised in a environment of tolerance and understanding and all that shit, then I grew older and started to see the world a little bit more.

I'm not racist, I have a few friends of just about every color and I always give indivuduals a chance. It's just that all this "tolerance" and liberal guilt stuff taught now a days is fucking nonsence.

I agree; anything of this nature goes sour when a government tries to enforce it. Political correctness and hate speech and all of that stuff is counter productive. Fighting agendas with agendas doesn't work haha.

Paddy, I didn't mean you. There's asses and heroes in every race and then there's the rest of us that just mosey along and could care less if you're green or blue.

A friend of mine had a co-worker try to play the race card when a grievance was filed against him. It really backfired when he found out 2 of her significant others had been of a different race.

It seems to be the activist racists that are somewhat educated, but the run-of-the-mill fascist cab driver sort of racist tends to be dumber than a box 'o hair haha.

A question: when people say "I could care less" do they intentionally word it like that for some reason, or is it just a mistake? The phrase is "I couldn't care less", meaning "it's not possible for me to care any less than I currently do", instead of "I could care less" meaning "there is room for me to reduce the amount of caring I'm currently doing" which implies that one actually does care to some degree, which is the opposite impression you'd want to give when you use that phrase. I hear it said that way in movies as well, and I'm just wondering if it's a sort of humorous corruption of the phrase or just a cock-up haha.

I guess it's just that there's leaders and followers and for others it's just personal opinion without the gathering masses.

It's the accent. That's just one of those things like Amadeus said. Of course, since you mentioned it I may or may not watch it. In speaking it's one thing, but writing is something else.
picky picky picky........

Stoned wallabies... yea, I can see the UFO fanatics swallowing that one. It just goes to show, between fantasy and reality, reality owns.

Old news, but I actually hadn't heard of this before. Can't beat experience.

That`s an old story. It was sure that he had alcohol problems since he left In Flames during a tour!

Haha, funny that you mention that, because the street I live on is actually right beside a very large forest. It does look kind of gr1m in the fall

Well, you're even safer than you think. Just follow my creed, my child, and you shall be saved:
I hereby declare my faith in the holiest of holy, Free Speech. Ay, and the city fathers of Athens and every person ushering forth the light of its cradle, Democracy, is Its profets, and we shall take their words for serious consideration and debate or laugh at and ridicule at our own discretion. I bow my head to the martyrs of my faith, men bleeding to death in stupid wars that most of them didn't understand anyway, but which were still pushed to undeserved importance and needed to be won.
Any bible-blathering nit-twit or koran-waving beard monkey in a dress who wish to infringe on this my sacred faith can expect to have their sorry asses dragged off to court, 'cause it SAYS SO IN THE GOD DAMN LAW! Well, at least in Ireland, as far as I understand it.

Sigh. We're evolved from monkeys, but some never managed to get down from the tree, even when it, due to to a slight kink in continental drift, wasn't even there anymore.
