Pop Filter

I thinking of getting a pop filter for my condenser vocal mic. Does anyone here use one and is it helpful?

Yea, i have one, is useful for (obviously) getting rid of the nastyness of certain phrases like 'peter pans' putrid pantry'

Also, it serves as a marker to make sure that you dont get too close to the mic, so the sound is even and you don't get too much bass

Does a certain one or kind make a difference? I used to use a cheap one i got with one of my mics.

it shoudlnt really matter there like power conditioners they all do the same thing. theyre also good for keeping spit of the mics
