Cannibal Corpse, Prostitute Disfugurement and Aeon on Saturday in Glasgow, AAAAGH!
AAAAAGH!
My dad's birthday is the day after on the Sunday, so I'm taking him to his first death metal concert for his 46th!
To think, he used to go and get mashed up at punk and skinhead shows when he was my age!
It'll be like the completion of a cycle for him!
It'll be great on the whole. I've heard tons of the Corpse, but I've heard and liked the one song I've heard of each of the others. Especially Aeon.

your dads ok with songs like entrails ripped from a virgins cunt? Good luck with that. I like my dad, but Id cringe inwards during the Corpsegrinder song intros.
Prostitute Disfigurement are a good live band as well, theyre cool

Man, you're lucky to have a dad who would go to a CC concert with you. My dad could barely stand watching my Disasterpieces dvd when I was watching it, and he was very annoying. "I don't understand what they are saying! Oh my god, is that a Pentagram? Are these guys satanic?" Can we trade dad's?

Thanks for that.
My dad laughs at the song names, and he doesn't have that grunt of condescending disdain that many do.
He'll be in awe at the Corpsegrinder intro's! My dad is cool like that. We're gonna get him crushed in the moshpits! The dude's a stick insect. Corpsegrinder could snack him like a twig!
I'm looking forward to the support acts too. This will be the heaviest gig ANYONE in my school has EVER been to. Even Prosi' Disfig's name had mates (Metallica being their furthest stretches into metal with Trivium for the REALLY hardcore) bowing in fear and awe before me when I was telling them about it. I am my region's most revered music listener!
By the way, this is my first gig featuring professional musicians. I am losing my gig cherry to Prosi' Disfigurement!

Wow...
His voice IS fucking inhuman, but at the same time it's not stupid or too piggy. Sounds like a drainpipe unblocking itself!

I'm wearing one right now!
THAT.
WAS.
FUCKING.
IMMENSE.
And the CD is in the CD player a lot.
I got sold a Prostitute Disfigurement t-shirt after the show by the singer at the other room where they were selling merch'. I didn't get the album: it sold out! And the Aeon merch' was completely gone! The Cannibal stuff was going fast as well. I had a little chat with the singer as well. I asked him whether he could teach me his voice sometime. He laughed and said "you just do it." Then we shook hands and I left.
From early into Cannibal's set I was right in front of Corpsegrinder, he was less than ten feet away from me! At the end, he came round shaking the front row's hands. He did it twice. On the second round, I got him to read the slogan on my longsleeves: "I'm so metal, I shit studs." he peered at it for a moment then he laughed. I received several compliments about it during the night.
I've got the Corpsegrinder's spare bottle of water as well. I'm waiting for a particularly special occasion to drink it.
One of the songs (maybe Entrails Ripped From A Virgin's Cunt) was devoted to this girl that was hanging over the barrier shouting out to George. That was funny. He got a kiss on the cheek from her at the end.
At one point someone near me started the chant "Emo sucks!" and it really fucking spread. George was taking a drink at the time and he laughed. He turned round and says "that is 100% fucking true!!!" Everyone cheered. There were emos there as well. I bet some got scared and fucked off. "I will have a metal pit in here, not an emo pit!"
He promised us that we were the best crowd he's seen in years. "I could be just saying that, but no, I PROMISE you."
Everyone screamed "HAMMER! SMASHED! FACE!" along with George when it came to it at the end. Then they did "Stripped, Raped And Strangled" for an encore.
Dad loves Aeon's album, and he likes the lyrics. He fucking loved the show.
When Prosi' Disfig' were due on, their roadie came around filming the crowd. And he filmed the show I think. I made sure I was in it.
Everyone was impressed by the voice. That's one voice. There was one of them, he goes "This song is called (something unintelligible)". A dude beside me went "WHOA!" to his mates. A lot of folk did, especially the ones who could do decent Corpsegrinders.
The filming may indicate a DVD, but don't quote me on it.
The show was just great. Sacrifce got some footage. Although he got separated from me when I decided to slowly to the front for Cannibal.

Aeon played Gives Gives Head In Heaven, I think. At the end of their set, they finished with the opening of the country version, the little clean guitar intro'.
I don't know about older stuff, but they played a shit load of Bleeding The False. FOREVER NAILED!
My sig'? It's is the beginning of Stargate SG-1's theme tune!

We Scots make sure we are as much of a show for the band and as much as they are for us. Decapitated and Slayer have reported awesome Scottish crowds too!

Yeah dude I went to the london show...sooo fucking intense...Aeon were amazing as well...I preferred them to PD (who were also pretty awesome) and at the end I met ALEX WEBSTERRRRRRRRR and got a photo with him, and he actually looks quite scared of me haha. He fucking rules, such a friendly and down-to-earth guy. All in all a truly awesome night of beer gore and metal!
