Good, Cheap, Preamps
Can any of you guys reccomend a good quality cheap preamp? It will prob mainly be for vocals but, I would like it to also do bass.

Eh ...
A POD would work because it does have some clean amp channels, as well as a Bassman model. And the engineers went so apeshit that they put in a Tube Mic Preamp model for vocals and whathave you.
A guitar POD won't sound as good for bass as a bass POD, and the Tube Mic Preamp model won't sound as good for vocal as an actual vocal preamp, but hey, you want a 2-in-1 cheap preamp, and its probably your best bet.

Doesn't the internal preamps in a mixer or your soundcard work good enough for you?

As it hasn't got any mic pres it's most likely a bad soundcard and therefor the low value analog-to-digital converters will kill the sound anyway
