Post Your non-metal tabs!

I couldn't find a thread like this so I decided to start this. This might be a good idea, because many people tab other kind of songs too. (I think) And since this site is only for metal tabs, it would be cool if we could post our other tabs somewhere here. Just lock this if this is a bad idea or it's done before.

Anyway, here is few rock songs I've tabbed. (That Ra:IN is incomplete)

Why not just join UltimateGuitar and support Bobbi? They take all sorts of tabs.

I don't think this'll work out because this site (as you acknowledged) is so strictly metal that it would be pointless to post other tabs from other genres when there are a bunch of other sites on the net to get them from or post them on. That's only one douche's opinion, though.

Because ultimate guitar sucks. All my non-metal tabs are in MSB though. I just thought this would be a nice idea.

How about we have a thread of popular songs that have been tabbed in a metal style? I'm not talking Britney Spears here, more like metallicised Joy Division, Stranglers, New Order, that sort of stuff.

I think that's a great idea. A thread for our own metal-ized versions of non-metal songs, and maybe even a few alterations of metal songs (heavier versions, thrashed-up versions, etc). I'm all for it.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe there was one like that, but I don't think it had any tabs. By the way theoldman Hide kicks ass. My friend has the art of life DVD pretty good stuff with X-japan.

While I like the idea of this thread, what Zionist is saying does ring true. I think we'll keep the thread regardless.

Well, there's plenty of talk about non-metal subjects on this site so I don't see why not. Sure, the main front page should be for metal tabs and metal tabs only, but in the forums? I don't see any reason why some slack isn't cut, particularly as the vast majority of people here aren't so narrowminded as to enjoy only metal.

The idea is that you tab a non-metal song and then get comments from a familiar set of regulars who have the same general outlook on music. For instance, I'd love to see a lot of metallicised classical arrangements (or just some really good classical tabs from the excellent tabbers here) and it might as well be within these forums than anywhere else.

That's a great idea. Or this could be both, for non-metal and covers of non-metal songs.

Meh, this is metal tabs. If this site wanted tabs other than metal it wouldnt be called metal tabs. surely tehrs dozens of sites after ur tabs. it would kinda ruin this site if it accepted rock or whatver tabs, itd be like a website going mainstream hahaha

We're not talking about the site accepting non-metal tabs - I wouldn't want it to in any case - we're talking about there existing a thread for "acceptable" non-metal tabs and tabs of non-metal songs with a metallicised twist.

If people don't like it, stay the fuck out of the thread. Simple, eh?
