But to bones98,will it make it clearer?Depends what you were using in the first place to amplify the POD.Pods are used ALOT for direct recording at home and in studio's,but it does come down to your computers interface/soundcard, processor,ect. |

Krisiun use a POD, and they sounded damn good live, i don't think you can wrong with a POD, but yea, get the XT unless you're strapped for cash

Mainly I want to hear what the POD sounds like straight through a cab, and unprocessed - the samples on the website were pretty poor.

When I recorded the demo, it was all direct in --- no micing. One of the reasons I use a POD.

I've found that i (personally) get better results by mic'ing my cab when i use my pod (straight into the poweramp of my Laney). When i went direct, it sounded too 'grainy' and raw for my liking- most probably my setup though.
