Ring any local guitar shop and ask if they have a workshop/luthier who will do it. Should cost around £120 ($210).

You'd be really suprised what they'll work with, and you'll notice such a difference once all the frets are re-levelled and all that

I got mine done for £80, at Feline Guitars, they did it in 4 hours for me too, cause i needed it for a rehersal, so go there if you're in London (which i don't think you are)

say a guitar has fairly small frets when you buy it new (Vintage style frets)

Is it ok to put jumbo frets on it like stock Ibanez RG's?

I don't see why it'd be an issue, obviously you'd have to have it set up to raise the strings slightly, possibly a new nut? There wouldn't be any scale issues that i can think of though
