She Whisper my Name in Nocturnal Music
Hi everyone!
Here are the lyrics for another demo I wrote and almost done recording. It is one of my most beautifully romantically evil song I wrote
She Whisper my Name in Nocturnal Music:
Shady winter sky-in the icy air
Beneath the glimmering stars
Gloomy night of the moon’s dim light
Rings with woeful melodies
Choirs of nocturnal creatures
Such beautiful grave symphonies
Divinely warm desires in ambient echoes
An igniting flame that flows through my veins
It is she Lilith that sounds the lyre
That shot the arrow
It smite my heart
An so my quest commence
To soothe the throbbing wound
This selfless love I must appease
For her witchcraft I am consumed
It is he Satan
From the cosmic deep
Who has stolen thee from me
In the depths of hell I delve to rescue thee
In the city of vice ruled in noble blood
Where palaces held serfdom orgies
For selfish pleasure did they adore
A passion for blasphemy their sole concern
Lilith the whore of Sodom
Wherein I hath saw thee
Her reign worshiped in myriads
In men and women alike
Cunning beauty
Lo! how her presence swarms
Surging precipice waves
Urgings whims of even Satan
Fettered in love
On bent knees
His heart is set
Ensuing Satan’s inamorata
Ushering an edict by God
Sodom an axiom of mortal vice
Cursing the city throng to damnation
Lo the dire sky!
Stained with dismal thunderheads
Hailing shafts of mercury
And bulks of fire
Thereon the hapless victims
Of Sodom’s denizen
Satan’s couriers
Informing of God’s vengeful devise
Hence he wings to earth he thither
To Sodom in mist snatching his love from God’s cabal
Now the creature of Hell
A flock of demonic females
My heart it ignites for vengeance
Brimming with vice, no trace of goodness
Angelic and infernal creature
Succulent womb juice of evil
Let me imbibe
Black witchcraft I do sublime
For her lips a graven kiss
That make my body spasm
Forever I yearn to love thee
Demonic whore I revere
Enemy of God and Satan
Analogous destiny
Cursing Eve and her sibling’s

There's a lot going on it and while I'm not crazy about the subject matter it seems to have a good flow to it. Some of it seems almost sarcastic that Lilith would have that big of a hold over deity and demon.
Might be good for a growl. Is that how you're doing it?

The concept of the story is not based on anything cited. The characters are real but the concept of the song is made up. These characters fit into the songs storyline. The ideas of the song arouse from different experiences I had.
Not the whole song is growling. Some parts are gloomy melodic vocals, and the rest are different variations of growls.

Man, you got a pretty darn cool metaphoric interpretation of things. I'm jealous. Thanks for the information. If someone knew you and wanted to figure out what it eluded to it would be interesting to do. Do you repeat ideas in other things you've written like a common thread through them?

I'm not sure I exactly understand your question. If you'r asking if I expand on some ideas in other songs than I do. I'm thinking of expanding some ideas of this song into another one. If your interested of how this song sounds than here is a link to it in mp3 format http://songs.hijazi.us/NocturnalMusic.mp3

Yeah, that's what I meant. I'll check out the mp3 tomorrow since it's about bedtime. Thanks for the link and info.
EDIT: Okay, today is tomorrow and I listened to it. The music reminded me of video game music a bit. That wasn't bad at all. I'm not a big fan of "screamy" singing styles, but I gave it a shot. For the type of song it is it didn't make me cringe to listen to it, but I doubt I'd listen to it again. Absolutely nothing against you personally. It's just not something I'd listen to much. An instrumental version I might since it's emotive.

Everything I do is instrumental. I don't know another way to record a song without playing actual instruments? At the begaining my songs sounded to raw because all my riffs were guitar. Now I have a keyboard, piano, violin, and cello to accompany my guitar. And I play all those instruments in the song. How can that not be instrumental? Just curious how did you think I recorded it if I didn't play it?
Not trying to be offensive, I barely played any video games in my life.
