it does belong in the guitar forum to make me happy to not have to deal with it.

I really prefer the neck on my ESP over say a Jackson Soloist or Dinky. Although I am comfortable with a lot of necks, I really like the ESP necks. The only neck I actually am not too comfortable with is the neck on my EBMM JP. It is, believe it or not, too thin. But I also don't really like very thin necks.
I like Ibanez a lot. Their necks are pretty thin, but pretty comfortable as well. The wizard necks are awesome. I guess it is really all personal preference. I don't like super thin necks, therefore I like some of the Ibanez and ESP necks. The EBMM JP neck is probably the thinnest I've played, and sometimes it is rather uncomfortable.
My suggestion (as always with these sort of things) is to go out and try these guitars and find the one that you feel most comfortable with.
In my preference order, it would be:
ESP
Ibanez(Jem or Wizard)
Caparison
PRS (wide-fat)
Jackson

When it comes to necks, no person can tell which is the best because it is all personal preference so you will have to try them for your self. And yes the necks for the H series and MH series are the same.

my ideal neck is on the jackson soloist sl-2. i just love the width and "friction" you get if that makes sense. this might be due to the fact that i am also a stratocaster kind of guy. i just played my friends ESP LTD somethin or other. it had a suprisingly fast neck, like that of an ibanez.
