fernandez ravelle
hey i'm looking into getting a ravelle... but i dont know whether to get the elite (JB/sustainer pickup) or the deluxe (JB/Jazz)
i read all the reviews on harmony central, and nobody really says how the sustainer works... or what it really does. The only idea i got was that it was the neck pickup was muddy when clean, and could sustain or feedback forever when it was on... and was basically useless unless you wanted a muddy ass neck pickup that could hold notes until the batteries die...
I also read the stuff here... nobody really talked about what the sustainer actually did other than say "it makes sustain better"...
can anybody tip me off with any information?
[EDIT: added]
oh, and does anybody know whether it comes with a pickguard or not? i've seen them with and without... and couldn't find a reliable answer.
