Try and get to a store and try one out, most stores will let you.People have different opinions on gear, and the pedal wont sound the same on every rig.

I've owned this pedal for a few years. It sounds pretty mean through my '74 Ampeg SVT. It's a lot of fun to mess around with when I'm jamming by myself but I've never used it in a song or as part of my overall sound. Of course, that doesn't mean it won't work for you. Check for any reviews on harmonycentral.com - you may find a reviewer with similar needs and gear as your own.

Holy Shit! I just looked on harmony central and over a 100 people have reviewed this pedal!

why 'dont use a pick' ? i usually play with fingers, even with 4 fingers (just started to train that), but for playing Sodom songs pick is quite good :P
