Peavey Valveking

I am writing this to see, if anyone else has played or owns one? I bought the 50watt 1x12 combo version of it for 350, and i've gotta say for alittle combo that would cost about as much as some Solid State combos its a nice little practice amp, the only problem is theres no presence control. (Ill need an Equalizer obviously).

O yes and i was wondering if since it has a speaker out, when i use it as a head Do i have to unplug its speaker? or am i safe to plug in a cab and use it as a head with its speaker still plugged in?

You don't have to unplug the speaker, it just means you can simaltaneously run your combo's speaker and an external extension cabinet.

I've heard from many people that the amp is overall pretty good for a 112 except the speaker which is kind of shitty

basically peaveys idea for this amp was to make it as cheap as fucking possible while still being all valve.

You will notice its other parts are of lower quality.

but looking at the price i think the valveking is a good effort. My local music shop sells truckloads of them
