Any suggestions on how to achieve gutturals?

I'm in a brutal-death metal band( www.myspace.com/catastrophictorment) ***Vocals have not been added yet***. I sing and play bass...so I decided to try out gutturals. I have an idea on how to achieve 'em. But I would actually like some techniques. Gutturals such as Disgorge (Mexico). Any advice? Thanx!
