Tune Question
Well I haven't played guitar for ages now (been stuck with drums) and now want to get back to it again and learn all the theory, all the songs I used to be able to play, etc. I am trying to remember how to tune to Drop C but cannot remember. Sorry if this was posted before but I cannot find any info on this. I have a Korg GA 30 tuner and not sure how to do this... CGCFAD I think is drop C but how do I do this on the tuner? Do I push a certain fret or what? I know it's a beginner kind of question and sorry about that but hell, I haven't played in a long time and don't know any theory at all anymore so I can't help myself.
Thanks a lot for any help here guys!

CGCFAD is drop C,and what type of tuner do you have. You can do it by ear, just drop every string a whole note, and then drop the low D to C.

Does your tuner have a button that says flat? If so push it 4 times so that 4 flat symbols come up on the tuner to tune the 6th string to C and then change it so there is only 2 flat symbols to tune all the other strings to their respective notes. (A flat symbol changes the pitch of the note down a half step and going from E to C is 4 half steps down)

I have the same tuner. First tune your guitar whole step down by pressing the flat button twice. then press the flat button twice again and tune the bottom string to right pitch.

For some odd reason the tuner wont come up with C or G. I saw it pop up with G real quick but I can't find it again... Reason for this? I did the other strings by pushing flat twice and then the big string by pushing it 4 times....

It won't show notes like C or so on because it¨s for guitar. the C is still showed as E1, but if you have pressed the flat four times it will be tuned to C.

So just press it twice and tune them all to adgbe and then 4 times and do the first string to E? Is that what your saying? Sorry, I sound like a total dumbass but I am new to this.

Ok, understood. At first I kept looking for CGCFAD to come up and C never came up and G came up on the tuner real quick and that was it and didn't read it anymore. Now I pressed it twice and tuned until it got to adgbe and 4 times and did the big string to E.
