quick cab question
Im thinkin of buyin a largish speaker cab in the near future. All I have though, is a POD (2.0 though im lookin to get XT Live soon enough.)
All I wanna know is, can I use a POD with a cab and have it output my modelled tone and stuff? I mean, its a preamp?
I dont know much about this stuff, and I would eventually upgrade (trust me, Id love a proper head eventually) but for now I want to focus getting a cab first.
Summary; Can I use a pod as my tone modeller on its own through a cab. It might be a stupid question, but I want to know before I spend any money. Im not rich.

You'd need to get a poweramp to go between the POD and the cab, but the answer is yes, you can use the POD as a modeller, and get that nice tone you've found through your headphones pumping out of a 4x12

Oh yea, by the way, you may want to have a fiddle with the 'AIR' settings on the POD when you do get it running through a cab, because it'll make a difference to how it sounds, its all to do with the PODs' cab modelling system

Dont know yet. Preferably not too much, but Im not too concerned. Obviously not like thousands though, or over a thousand dollars. Preferably, anyway. Why, do you have any recommendations? Im all open to suggestions as I dont know where to start.
And cheers Arvina, I probably would turn it off, but Im gonna see how it all sounds eventually anyways so
