Anyway.. I havent heard good things about the pedal. Infact i once heard someone say that if it has "Metal" in the name steer clear of it
Just plug it in and play with it man. FInd sounds you like. Sound is a very personal thing. If it sounds good to you then go for it.

Digitech Death metal, Boss Metal zone... suck. Most pedals cant simulate good tone at high gains, it ussually just ends up sounding like hairy ass. |

What happend is that all my co-workers know that I play and I am into metal and all that So a couple of weeks ago I showed my friend at work a picture of it and told him I would like to hear it so I guess he and some others chipped in to get it for me. I really appreciate the gift but is their anything I can get Im looking towerds cannibal corpse, black metal, and soloing I have a metal zone and I am completley tired of.
Any recomendations are welcomed.

I honestly prefer the metalzone, much more tweakable...and at least the metalzone's a fun practice tool + it CAN (yes, it CAN) get some usable tones.
Nothing ultra-cool but usable. Ultra cool is why i have my rack setup.

the pedal sucks....it gives way to much feedback and if you dont press it in time it gives a loud noise like static....overall i would never recommend this pedal to anyone...i waisted my moola..

I tripped over something called FabMetal (Danelectro) when I was on vacation in Scotland last summer.
Sure, my experience of pedals is limited and my amp is only a medium-sized thing from Laney, but I've come to like it. Not least the fact that if I don't turn down the volume to almost minimum I could easily wake the neighbours up, closed doors and windows or not. And the closest neighbours' bedroom is at least fifty meters away.
If nothing else the little bugger was cheap, but you might want to combine it with a compressor.

Whats a mediocre pedal i could use to boost the distortion on my V-Tone amp? I just want something small and cheap so i can bring it to school/nH's house without bringing my V-Amp Pro and cabs.

Danelectro eats metal zones
Alright check it out,the Daelectro Fab Tone is the perfect balance of vintage tube and modern dist. it's plenty crunchy w/ little fuzz, and great sustaine, I think the tone is unbeatable. rythms are tight, solos are super clear,you can here every note at lightning speed. Hell for $50 bones new you can't wrong.

I heard the Danelectro Metal is pretty good And the reviews look good but for $20 bucks I just might buy it and If I dont like it at least the money was free from my co-workers lol

Line 6 PODXT or XT Live is the way to go. I found it to be really easy to use and plus u can download EQ settings off Line 6's website and stuff if u want to get a certain sound.
Ive searched for Death metal files for it, but these people got bad taste in tone. So far Im happy with my own EQ setting.
