That's really weird. The chorus of that song is the reason why I started liking that song, and was the only reason I listened to that CD more than once... I'm not a big fan of King of All Kings though. Maybe I need to listen to it more.

Killing Road, Family Tree, and Blood of Heroes by Megadeth. Youthanasia is my favorite album of theirs, but the choruses of those songs piss me off.

Interesting thread by the way, it's nice that sometimes something original pops up around here.

To call Warriors of the World United over-the-top is like calling Slipknot false metal; it's a given. And by the way, all Megadeth made after Rust in Peace is shitty, "Youthanasia" is like their "Load".

Agreed. I like Phil's style, but some of his lyrics can be too cheesy on the badass scale.

As for more bad choruses, Load and Reload are loaded with 'em (no pun intended). For some reason -- shoot me -- I like the "Devil's Dance" song. I just have to either heavy it up or speed it up when I play it. But I'm sure as hell not giving James any fuel, fire, or that which he desires. If Avril Lavigne can cover your song, you're doing something wrong.

Manowar-Anything. They were almost decent with Black Wind Fire and Steel, but they went and gayed that up too.

Destruction-The Ravenous Beast. Too much vocal overdubbing. Decent song otherwise.

Helloween-Mr. Stien or whatever. That song is the biggest pantload they could have possibly stuck on the otherwise stellar Keeper 2, and it pisses me off every time I hear it.

Sepultura-Territory. Holy shit does that one suck.

Iron Maiden-Invaders. Horrible chorus.

Iron Maiden-Holy Smoke. Just a bad song. Chorus couldn't help it I assume.

In Flames-Most of them. They can't seem to write a good chorus to save their miserable lives. That includes the early stuff. It was better than the atrocities of their new age, but that's like saying being stabbed to death is better than being burned to death. You're still dead.
