You know what FUCKING pisses me off??

Alright.....here's the deal. My stereo sucks to start off with. I got it before (i think) burnable cds were on the market....so naturally, it doesn't read CD-R very well. (that i'm ok with because of it's age)

But ever since i started playing CD-R in there, it has an even HARDER (yes, harder) time reading NORMAL FUCKING CDS!!!! I just tried playing my Immolation disc (which i bought, not burnt) and it took 6 tries before it started playing. (it's a turntable of 3 discs......so if it doesn't read first time, it goes to disc 2)......well i had to go back to 1 (immolation) 6 FUCKING TIMES TO MAKE IT WORK!!!!!!!!!

I got pissed off a while back and hit the top with my fist......i ended up breaking off a chunck of the opening (the top opens like a little door). Ah well.....it's about to be thrown out the fucking window soon.

my stereo is as old as that, my mother won it at a radio station giveaway,
sometime about 15 years ago. and the sound is a whole lot better than
those new high tech stuff, which is why i don't have a new one. the only
problem is that the left speaker keeps shorting, so i have to jump the volume
knob to bring it back.

Did you get your name from the Ann Rice novel? It is a kick ass book BTW. Not as good as Interview With The Vampire, or The Vampire Lestat, but a hell of a lot better than Tale Of The Body Thief.

Indeed i did. I think it's the best of the 5 books....i just really got into the whole god/devil thing though.

As for just vampire stuff, i'd say Lestat was the best, with Queen in second.

Fuck.....what a fucking way to end a week.

As some of you know, i work the graveyard shift....9pm-5:30am. So, i usually come home and have something to eat before i go to bed, lately i've come on here to check some threads out and stuff.

This morning, i stayed up a little later than usual, until about 7:30am....then i went to sleep. I'm awakened at 8:30 by 2 motherfucking jackhammers no more than 20 feet from my house (no exaggeration at all, it was about 20 feet). I have an air conditioner in my window, so there's cracks and holes where sound can come in a lot louder than usual. This is an old house (100+ years).....so sound just naturally goes through it. Anyways.......that went on for about 30 minutes. Constant hammering for about 5 minutes....then a 5 second break...then another 5 minutes....it was really annoying, i was screaming "fucking christ" in my room.

It finally stopped around 9am....everything was silent, so i tried sleeping. Then i hear this little faint tapping noise.....i have no idea where it was coming from, but it was annoying. It wasn't loud, barely noticable.....but it got on my nerves. I ended up losing about 45 minutes of sleep. I was mad......i'm still mad.

Or maybe ask real nicely if you can try to jackhammer for a while, since you cant sleep, and when the guy innocently and gullibly gives it to you, you could choose to run off with it , or take the disarming second while he's handing it over to physically disable him by any means necessary.

Or, there's always the choice of taking the only useful spinoff of America's passtime, the baseball bat, and having a little bit of fun.

Then there's always the popular option of a punch to the throat.

Or, if you have an understanding friend, you could ask to crash at his house whenever construction robs you of those most precious of moments during sleep.

Or you could find out where this jackhammer guy sleeps and come by his house on your lunch break or something, which I'm assuming would be while he's sleeping, and do something (perhaps blast Immolation and yell 'MMMMMMMOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSSSSS IIIIIEEEEEEAHHHHHMMMMMMM!!!!!!') to make his night's not the most enjoyable one he's had.

Or find out his life history, call his mother, and have her chew him out. "You're interrupting that nice man's sleep! How could you do that?"

I had to use my back button to get to Chit Chat. But now it's fine, everything's loading like usual......

This has been happening to me over the past 2 days....it seems fine for 3-4 minutes, then the forums lag for about 3 minutes, then they're fine again. I doubt it's my computer cause this is the only site it happens on.
