A couple questions

Hello,im new to the forums and i need some help with 2 things.First off im in a metal band with 2 guitairsts who both have half stacks. We also have a drummer,My question is how many watts do you think ill need in a bass amp to be heard?

Which bass screams "Metal" more the washburn taurus t12 or the peavey millineum?

Hi, welcome to metaltabs!

Personally i think a good 600/700 watts will be enough to push through and more for this sort of situation. a nice 410 cab, or 610 (they come cheap, because theyre a bitch to lug around)

Spector screams metal, some of the warwicks.. and most of the Ibanez's..

Hope this helped.

pretty much anything is more metal than a peavey....
but as far as an amp goes its not really "that" importat\nt how many watts it has.
just so long as it has great sound.
at gigs you will probably need to mic it anyway so you could make it as loud as you want.
but that would mean it needs an xlr output which most amps have
