This thread rocks because it gave me something to laugh at; namely, a sewer band.
I also found trolloch (SP?) completely by random off that bm page. just clicked a name at random and alas! its ridiculous. A bunch of fags in corpse paint in the water in a forest. how gr1m, singing about nature.
I would argue that gore metal isnt that ridiculous. Not saying its intelligent, but the better gore bands, at least, know that its not serious, and so its all tongue in cheek, in which case it becomes comical. Black metal however seems to always be serious (Im not an authority but of all the bm bands ive seen, this is the case)
But yeah gore metal that takes itself seriously, is ridiculous really. Hearing a bunch of guys on stage introducing their next song involving fucking women in horrific ways is just retarded, when you know they probably dont get a lot of action. Or are sensitive guys.
