For Sale : Washburn Seven String w/ JB, 175$
My Washburn Seven String is for sale for 175$ ( or best offer ). Its a Washburn WG587, which is the one that goes for 200$ in Music123 ( but has the list price of 1,000$ ). I want 175 for the upgrade I made to it : A Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge. Only problems being that I sanded the neck down a tiny, tiny bit ( like wiped it over once ) and there's a very small chunk of wood missing out of the fretboard at the fourth fret high E string. But you can't feel it while playing, and it did'nt affect the intonation at all, suprisingly. Washburn makes a good guitar it seems. I'll put pictures up tomorrow.

I'm selling it because it has balls. TOO MUCH in fact, which I never thought I'd say that about any guitar. Then again if you saw what rig I was running it through, you'd definitely see how the seven string would be overkill. Its something about the thickness of the wood/neck joint/it being a seven string ... it has way more 'oomph' in the B 5 chord than my B-standard tuned Schecter. Its nothing but low mid resonance.
Anyone want to buy it?

I own this guitar, red, korean model added EMG 707 pickups. Now I also own an Ibanez RG321MH and my washburn plays just as well as my Ibanez. I would highly advise anyone looking for a high quality, afforable 7 sting to check out the washburns. I bought it when it was $1000, and now you can find them for 200 bones online. My only problem with this guitar was the stock pickups wern't exactly the best, and I see this problem has been solved. For $175 your getting a top notch 7 thats worth more like 900

The crappy thing about trying to sell stuff on the internet is that there's always going to be a better deal somewhere. Still, it seems like you've got a sweet offer. A Washburn 7 string is very tempting, and I'd be willing to pay 200 bucks if you were local. Just something about the whole shipping thing and stuff that bugs a nerd like me. I don't know. But since I don't know you, I don't have to feel bad about not giving you business, right?
Either way, I should start looking for something like that. I've got a dark red-ish Fender telecaster. Sure, it's a wonderful instrument, but the image just isn't metal enough. Not to mention the benefits of already having a seventh string for lower songs. Oh well. Money is money, and you can't have everything.

I've bought a DD-3 through a HC ad. It's safe, just make sure you have enough info of who you're dealing with.
Sorry John but I changed my mind, don't really want a 7 string now. Hopefully someone else buys it. Peace.

Dammit John, I would love to buy your guitar but I have a rg1527 coming. Maybe in a year or so I would but I highly doubt you not selling for that long. bad timing.
