Failing Autonomy

These time-tested results have brought this upon us
Useless from the moment of conception
It's too late to remember who we are

The valiant efforts have decayed to dust
Blown by the wind in every direction
Anchored trust could have saved this life

We often ask others for a purpose
As if the self-reliance failed from the start
This belief will only bring misery

When you look at my face you'll see
The failure of autonomy, it's certainly present
Have you not noticed the collapsing callus?

I just can't believe what we've become
Hypocritical and less than concrete
It's as if we were born to be molded

yeah it kinda is. I realized at work today its not completely finished. I think i'll add a lil here and there once i fit it into some music. it doesn't have music as of yet.. But its probably going over some "melodic death metal" i kinda hate the name of the "genre" but tahts another story. Just kind of over my standard stuff. I have somethin started thats really good that i just never got around to finishing.

I actually have a newish style of music that i've been working. Mixing much more.. Death ... like tech style and sound and scales/progressions into my current style. I haev a finished song that i need to write lyrics for. I think i'm probably gonna do that tonight. It'll be probably a rough or "angry" song.
